PEDSI Global Health, in partnership with Planetary Health Academia (PHA), Bangladesh Pediatric Association (BPA), and Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS), is hosting the PALS Training Course and organizing the PEDSI International Conference on Pediatrics as part of the PHA Global Summit 2024.

PEDSI International Conference on Pediatrics – PHA Global Summit 2024 is a day-long event delivering comprehensive lectures in a case-based interactive format covering various topics in Pediatrics. Renowned experts from both the USA and Bangladesh will share their knowledge and experience. The course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills essential for identifying and treating prevalent pediatric diseases as well as life-threatening emergencies, topics vital to practicing physicians.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course is conducted by experienced instructors and follows the guidelines of the American Heart Association, equipping physicians with crucial skills to enhance the quality of emergency care provided to seriously ill or injured children.

PALS hands-on class employs simulated pediatric emergencies to teach a systematic approach to pediatric assessment and treatment, covering cardiac arrhythmia management, respiratory distress management, and effective resuscitation team dynamics. PALS program includes practical training with manikins, Bag-Mask Ventilation, Endotracheal Intubation, Intra-Osseous Needle insertion, Automatic External Defibrillation. Simulated resuscitation scenarios are integral components of these training sessions.

After successful completion, the participants receive PALS Course Completion E-card issued by American Heart Association.
